WHY I’M TAKING A BREAK FROM YOUTUBE? Is it okay to take a break from YouTube? Recording, editing, uploading and promoting new videos each week can be time intensive. In this video, I’m sharing with you reasons why I am Quitting YouTube and taking a break.

what’s up bosses so here’s the deal I was supposed to put out a video yesterday or at least I’ve been kind of holding myself to the standards of posting on Tuesday don’t know me I’m blogging Brandy I post videos almost every week but I try to help people with their business their branding and essentially building a life that they love put out a video a couple weeks ago about why you should Vlog every day and I particip IP ated in something called Veta and then I put out a video why you

shouldn’t Vlog every day and the whole reason behind those two videos was really a learning process for me because I said you know if I Vlog every day then I’m going to build up this momentum with the algorithm on YouTube because I’ve really got my strategy down and it’ll force me to get better at editing and recording not that it didn’t do that it just really took a hole on me it’s not that I’m burn out I am taking a break on this channel and this was really hard for me to come out and say

but I’ve just had a lot of things that have happened I’ve kind of mentioned them over time but I really need to put my focus on some other projects so it’s not that I’m taking a permanent break from YouTube I actually don’t know when I’m going to be back on this channel it’s something that I have to do and it’s something that I have to do for me and in order for me to get better me means that you’re going to get better in the videos that I’m putting out and the

content because the videos that I put out were educational videos but I just really need some time for myself tried to start my RV Channel and that’s something that I’ve kind of worked on and I’m really passionate about and I really like to put some Focus over there and actually finish one project that I’ve worked on I’ve been writing a book and I’ve really stretch myself thin as far as the time that I’m allowing to go into that there’s a lot lot that I’ve worked on and then the other thing is I

love making YouTube videos and the whole reason that I started making them was because of something that I was going through in my life and I was healing from so I started making these YouTube videos honestly it was actually about rving but I started rving because of tragedy that I went through in my life and it started to help me heal and traveling and stuff just kind of brought me to a different place so that was why I started rving and wanted to start that channel this channel blogging brand new

was actually supposed to be more RV and travel related and some things happened with my RV that you can hear about on my rving channel but essentially it takes a really long time to get them serviced and oh my gosh I bought this RV and it’s like 6 weeks before I can get it serviced it’s crazy so it’s not like when you break a car and you just take it to the dealership if I break my RV they tell me it’s six weeks before I can even bring it in so if my shop hour doesn’t work if something doesn’t work

they won’t even help me that’s a whole another video but just a glimpse into my life so I really need to take some time out to get my RV straight because the other part of that that a lot of you don’t know is like this is not mine okay so that means that anytime anybody wants to make changes to this they can and I don’t have control over that I really need my own space and my office in one place that I don’t have to keep moving all the time you know it sucks to have to like move your bathroom

and your office and your life every other week and it’s hard I haven’t had a stable environment or a stable place to be in over a year I started selling my house and then I was in a really bad car accident and I lost a lot of things I’ve put my furniture up for sale I haven’t gotten the money back from that there’s just so many things that have been going on that I’ve actually just haven’t taken the time to tie up the loose ends on and it’s because I’ve been so focused on

building my business and getting these videos out I just don’t want that pressure every week to have to get a video out when I really need to be focusing on some of these other parts of my business to help me move forward longterm because these videos they are a long-term game for me for those of you that don’t know when you put a video out on YouTube especially an educational video I make videos that help answer people’s questions or give them the solution to a problem that they have

people find me because of the way that I keyword and SEO my videos for search I make sure that they are looking for my video so my videos aren’t the Tope that go viral right off the beginning they actually get a lot of traction on the back end I get a lot of views you can totally subscribe to this because when I do start posting then you’re going to get notified if you hit that little bell as well so subscribe hit the notification button comment below this video let me know what questions you do

my YouTube channel my YouTube channel is actually the most important over all of my social platforms because it’s the only one that the videos are like there and people are searching for versus the other platforms people aren’t really searching for your content it’s just like popping up in front of them and they’re like oh maybe I’ll go check out bry’s video that’s one place I’m going to hang out more is on some of my other social platforms there’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff

going on that I can’t really share with you right now because it probably wouldn’t even make sense to you if I did I just have a lot of really positive things working for me but I have a lot of other things that disrupt all of the positive things so even though I think the week’s going to go smooth every week something comes up whether it be my RV whether it be my living situation or some other thing a family emergency my dog there’s always something and that’s part of being a

business owner but in doing Veta and doing all of my Vlogs and preparing so much content prior I actually kind of hurt myself in a way that I wasn’t able to bulk schedule the rest of my month that’s going to be something that I’m working on I just really want to get my content organized I want to look through my Channel I want to tidy up some things that I haven’t tidied up and in the meantime I’m hoping to actually record a lot of this stuff and go through that process with you so I can share it on my
