From my attic full of shipping supplies to my shelves of inventory for resale, here’s a behind the scenes look at how I run my reselling business and work from home (or while I roam).

This is exactly how I quit my job and started my entrepreneur journey — by decluttering and organizing my life, while making money, and finding freedom from my finance career (except that at the time I was doing this in my luxury condo)! 🙈

Part 1 – Behind the Scenes of My “Warehouse” 🏠

So I wanted to show you what my warehouse looks like — and the reason I call it my warehouse is because this is where I keep everything that I sell!

These are all the things I currently have listed on eBay, Poshmark, and my online thrift store — AmBay Exchange (which I also talk about in my new book Clutter to Cash).

I actually take all this stuff and resell it online. Some of it hasn’t been listed yet, some I’ve already photographed, and some is ready to go live. I think everything on this shelf is listed, while other shelves are a mix of “to list” and extra items.

So, this space is kind of a mix of my life + my business — it’s part storage, part workspace. This is what I call “the warehouse.”

Shipping & Storage Setup 📦

If I need to ship something, my Mom will come over here and grab the items to ship for me (she’s amazing and helps me with that part!).

I also keep all my poly bags and bubble mailers organized here — different sizes for a variety of items — and that’s what I use for shipping.

Then, there are my boxes… which are in the attic. 😅

Let me show you the attic — it’s kind of creepy! That’s where I store all my shipping supplies. It’s dark up there, but if you look closely, you’ll see the Amazon boxes and all the packaging I’ve saved to reuse.

My mom (or “Nanny”) will come up here, grab what she needs, and head back down to the shipping area to get orders packed and out the door.

The AmBay Exchange “Warehouse”

So yeah — this is my little AmBay Exchange warehouse, part attic, part bedroom… and part Birdie’s doghouse hangout spot. 🐶

This is where everything happens — from organizing to shipping to restocking — all the behind-the-scenes work that turns clutter into cash! 💸
