✅ Computer
My Apple computer is obviously the first essential item on my list. In the past, I’ve used a desktop, but I prefer a laptop because I can pretty much take it anywhere. It’s a 13-inch MacBook Pro—the newer model with an M2 chip (maybe the 2022 edition). I don’t know all the exact specs.
Speaking of which, if you feel like your computer is outdated and you’re thinking, “Oh my gosh, I don’t know how I’m going to do this whole digital nomad thing or work remotely…”—having a computer that’s up to date is essential. And not just “up to date”—my last computer was at the end of its life. It couldn’t even get software updates anymore. It was at least 10 years old!
One thing I will say: investing in an Apple or MacBook is pricey, but it’s well worth it. This is the machine I use to edit all my videos, make business decisions, hop on Zoom calls, and handle all the other fun stuff.
Either way, having a laptop is the first must-have.
