Because Making YouTube videos has 100% transformed my confidence, career, and outlook on life as an introvert! This video means a lot to me! I wanted to share my YouTube journey so far and how YouTube has completely changed my life even without being monetized or having a large following. These are the Things I Wish I Knew When I Started YouTube, the Steps to Get Your First 100, 500, and eventually 1000 Subscribers on YouTube, plus, HOW TO GROW FAST ON YOUTUBE IN 2024!

So, If you have ever thought about becoming a YouTuber, making your own YouTube channel, starting a business, quitting your job, aka making a lifestyle change – here’s your sign! This is How and Why I got started making YouTube Videos! Join me as I celebrate my first year being on YouTube (at least my first 100 subscribers)! I’m sharing behind-the-scenes of what it is like starting a YouTube channel and being a new creator on this platform in hopes of inspiring you to follow your passions too!

Thinking about starting a YouTube channel?

Some say YouTube is a numbers game: How to get your first 500 subscribers on YouTube, more views, likes, comments, etc… all the analytics and retention rates matter. None of these things will ever matter more than what I have gained on my YouTube Journey in terms of personal growth being introverted! Plus, I’ll explain how I made money on YouTube without being monetized and with less than 500 subscribers. Because YouTube has changed my life by helping me launch a business as a female entrepreneur.

I’ll also share my thoughts on beating the YouTube algorithm, growing your channel, and what I’d recommend if you’ve been on the fence about launching your own. Your whole life can change in 1 year. But it’s surprising when something that you’ve always used and have been aware of can be the catalyst for the change. Especially when that thing is YouTube. These are the main ways YouTube changed my life after I quit my job in Finance and started Filming!

1 Year of YouTube later with less than 500+ subscribers but a boatload of new revelations and experiences! I am grateful and feel abundant! Thank you for all of your support and for being part of my community! Don’t forget to Subscribe to @bloggingbrandi and hit that little bell icon to be notified every time I publish!

How YouTube is Changing My Life (with Less Than 500 Subscribers): My YouTube Journey as an Introvert

Celebrating Milestones

From 100 to 5,000 Subscribers

I wanted to tell you, I just got done sharing about my 5,000 subscribers over on my RVersity RVing YouTube channel. So, if you’ve never seen that and you’re like, “Who’s this chick? She’s super excited about her 100 subscribers,” yes, I am! This is my secret behind-the-scenes Blogging Brandi YouTube channel. But I have a whole other YouTube channel where I just hit 5,000 subscribers. I read them this thank you letter, which I’ll link below this video so you can check that out.

Behind the Scenes “Tour”

While I’m here, I wanted to tell you thank you. I gave you a tour behind the scenes of this penthouse, and you can see a little preview right here. We are redoing things—everything now is white and gold, different than it was before, but things are still getting redone. I can’t wait to share a new video about that. We’re here in Atlanta, and I’ve got a lot going on. Probably by the time you watch this video, I will definitely be over 100 subscribers!

Upcoming Content

I have a van tour coming up, gave you a tour of the travel trailer already! Shoutouts about Birdie’s Doghouse (my dog rescue), and a bunch of things going on behind the scenes. I just really appreciate all the people who follow me and subscribe to me and watch my story. If you haven’t seen my story, then you can watch that below this video.

Celebrating with You

I really wanted to tell you thank you and give you a cheers, and tell you that I love you and how much it means to me that you subscribe to these videos, like my content, give me your ideas, comment below these videos, share these videos, tell your friends, buy my courses and books, book calls with me, and invest in my products and services. Yes, you can book calls with me!

I wanted to take a moment before I lost the opportunity because I kept saying I’m going to make a thank you video on my other channel, RVersity, at 100 subscribers, and then 1,000, 2,000, 3,000. Before I knew it, it was 5,000 subscribers before I was able to say thank you. That’s not what I mean to do.

Updates and Reflections

I made a bunch of updates that you can check out in another video about what’s been going on in my RV life, boss life, and life life. I’ll put a link to it below this video. I just didn’t want to have a scripted thank you in this one.

I really just wanted to say thank you and I love you. There’s more to me than my RV and why I created this channel at the beginning of 2023. If you don’t know why I’m named Blogging Brandi, it’s because someone teased me, saying, “Oh, what are you going to do now, be Blogging Brandi?” I said I was going to blog and heal from my story and my tragedy.

Encouraging Bold Steps

I want to encourage you to be bold and courageous and to take a step in the right direction, whether that’s business, marriage, or RV life. There’s something you can be doing right now—mobilizing your life, downsizing, starting a side hustle.

Inspiration from Books and Courses

There are two things that did it for me, other than the Bible and God. One was a book I read called “The 4-Hour Workweek” by Tim Ferriss. It sparked something in me, telling me to have a mobile stream of income that gives you freedom of time, mobility of income, and freedom of life. When I left my job, I knew I had 6 months to live, and then I had a fallback plan to cash out my 401K and savings for six months. If you don’t know my story, watch it below. I was scared to take a leap of faith. I never planned on quitting my job and making random videos.

Taking a Leap of Faith

I was sitting on an island in my RV, crying to someone. Asking, “Why aren’t you making this blog? Why haven’t you got this done?” Then this person suggested I start a YouTube channel. Taking a step in the right direction, even in the wrong direction, helped me figure things out.

I didn’t get to where I’m at overnight by not taking steps, making moves, making mistakes, figuring out what works, what I like, what I don’t, and figuring out who I want to be.

I just wanted to tell you thank you. I wanted to encourage you to do you, boo. I wanted to encourage you to be bold and take action. Don’t just sit there and Netflix and chill and keep watching these YouTube videos without doing something else.

Steps to Take

There’s a step that you can take whether it’s reading a book or buying a course. Speaking of courses, the second thing that did it for me was watching this course, this master class, this webinar online. It was The Startup Bros and this course that I took about importing and exporting items online. It taught me about reselling items online.

Not all my businesses were winners. Some of them were failures. I have failures still sitting in boxes that have never been sold, okay! But what it taught me was how to sell. I learned how to go to Goodwill, shop, flip those items online, and make money. Then I started doing these auctions where I would buy pallets and have them delivered to my house. Some of them I would go to the auctions in person.

Learning from Experience

Have you ever imagined someone being like, “Okay, pallet one, pallet one, 500, 500, 1000,” and then people saying, “Oh, me, me, me.” That’s what I did. I literally was in this ring, sitting there all day. When the pallets would come up, I’d be like, “Okay, me, me, me.” I don’t know if you can imagine me doing that, but I created a course called Reselling Retail Arbitrage.

Courses and More

If you’re interested in ReSelling, you can check it out below this video. I also made a mini version, taking you behind the scenes to Goodwill and showing you how to list these items online on Amazon and eBay. If you’re interested in that, I know it’s something unique, but one reason people follow me is for these insights. I also talk about websites, social media, YouTube videos, marketing, email marketing, and branding. I wrote a book about branding and have a whole website and YouTube channel about Business and Branding!

Dog Rescue Passion

I talk about my RV life, business, and my dog rescue and foundation, Birdie’s Doghouse. I’m a dog mom, rescue mom, and lover. We have a cat too, but I love my dogs and am always trying to foster and adopt them. If that’s interesting to you, I’ll put links to that below this video.

Final Thoughts

I just wanted to tell you thank you, tell you a little bit more about me, and encourage you to not just watch me but to also do you too! If we haven’t officially met, I’m Blogging Brandi. If you like this video, please hit the like button below, subscribe to my Blogging Brandi YouTube channel, and tap that little bell icon to be notified each time I publish a new video.

Cheers to the Future

I am so glad I took a minute to tell you thank you and that I love you. If you haven’t seen the tour of this penthouse, you can check that out below this video. Cheers to the next 100, 200, 500, or 1,000 subscribers and views! Bye, I’ll see you in the next one!

A Funny Story…

Now after Filming this video: I’ve got to walk downstairs with this mimosa. It’s a Tuesday at 9:13 a.m. I have to take this back down the elevator to the condo. Can you imagine seeing me at 9:00 in the morning on a Tuesday with my bag and mimosa? They’d probably think I’m some kind of drunk person, but I never drink. Taking my mimosa and going back down the elevator—that’s what I’m doing while recording your videos! I found this bag I’m going to cover my wine glass with. Is that weird? I wonder if they’ll know.
