As the new year unfolds, many of us are filled with a sense of excitement and possibility. New year, new beginnings—it’s the perfect time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re heading.
Starting off the year with intention and energy can set the stage for incredible things to come. Whether you’re focused on self-improvement, manifesting success in 2025, or simply building momentum, there’s no better moment to kickstart your year with purpose (and a little Inspiration for the new year from me here).
Normally starting a New Year means New Adventures! However, sometimes the best place to start is to work backward, versus trying to begin with a blank slate or in a state of chaos going forward So I wanted to update you on what has happened so far THIS YEAR!

Kicking Off The New Year
📌 We started the year off Celebrating New Year’s in the City at the Condo watching the fireworks from our Palace in the Sky… aka The Penthouse!
To kick things off we decided to spend New Year’s Eve celebrating at our Penthouse in Atlanta, GA since you can watch all of the fireworks from an AMAZING view! Especially since we don’t have just one balcony but TWO! One overlooks the city of Atlanta and the other has Buckhead views!
📌 I SECRETLY Launched a new blog about Non-Alcoholic Sober Living called @TheDropsOfB
In case you didn’t know we don’t drink so starting off the year for us was a dry event! I mentioned Reasons Why I stopped drinking: How giving up alcohol became my superpower changing my life and transforming my business in a prior blog post!
THIS all came from BTS of my life “my story” and the Healthy Habits I started implementing in my daily life and work routine!

📌 We were snowed in for the first time in a long time at the Condo in ATL!
We did spend some time in the city for a few days at the first of the year, especially since one time we were going to be snowed in either at the Condo or the RV no matter where we were. So we chose to ride out the snow storm in the city.
Although it was pretty, I’d say being in the RV we would’ve been more prepared for the closing down of basic necessities!
I have to be honest we live like we are poor and never stock up on anything in the city since we can order it anytime we need or walk down the street to pick up everything we need! EXCEPT when the entire city shuts down for a rare snow storm! 🤦♀️

📌 One Year Ago We Rescued & Adopted Krypto!
In case you missed it, I wanted to share the story and vlog I made about my secret mission to save a dog also now known as “Krypto Paws”
I originally posted a video series on my personal @BloggingBrandi YouTube Channel to show behind the scenes what going on a van trip was like (especially with dogs and cat coming along in the RV) but no one expected us to have another dog joining us for the ride!

It’s been a year now since we took our last van trip or what I like to call our “rescue road trip,” to officially hand over Krypto Paws to his new dog Dad Adam yet this adoption was bittersweet with a shocking and life-changing ending!

📌 We Adopted & Rescued a new dog from the shelter (Little Boy)
I also might have forgotten to tell you we rescued a new dog! Welcome Little Boy aka “Lil Boy” (depending on who you ask) to our fur family!
He was a stray we picked up on a Van Trip a few months ago while passing by the Shelter and is by far one of the cutest sleepers!
But he is still in training: potty training and training for aggressive behavior!
Adopting Little Boy was one of the fastest decisions we’ve ever made. Sometimes our furry additions come into our lives by chance, other times by choice—but each one holds a special place in our hearts.

Trips & Tours:
📌 We Took A Quick Van Life Road Trip with the fur babies (5 Dogs + 1 Cat) to visit Casinos, Beaches + More…
To get away, take a break, and unwind we like to just hop in our RV van and go on unplanned road trips exploring van life with all the paws — No hotel reservations, flight, or rental car needed! We can go for a little or as long as we want.
This was a MINI Van Life Road Trip to Kick off the Year… We only got away for a few days (Saturday till Wednesday) Not even a full week but longer than a weekend.
We took off to the Casino close by (approximately 3 hours away) but it’s perfect for van life and RVing since we can take all 6 furbabies and sleep, eat, poop, pee, etc… all in the RV! There is NO WAY we could get a hotel room or probably even an AirBnb with 5 dogs and 1 cat in tow (but IDK) we have never tried!
On a side note: we take showers at the Gym (i.e. Planet Fitness, Work Out Anytime) vs in our van UNLESS we hook up at an RV park because We are limited on space and water when boondocking!
Honestly, we just drove around, stopped and hit a few slot machines, then headed to the beach. It was too cold to get in the water, but the dogs love to walk, run, and play in the sand on the beach. So we like to find dog-friendly destinations for them to get out and explore. They never know where they are at when we open that RV van door!
Plus, our Cat Johnny Flynn loves to hang out in the van, although he is NOT allowed to go outside unless he’s in his cat carry case (one of the Essentials: Every Cat Must Have!) He still loves the Sunshine and Views looking outside!
I didn’t document this Van Life Road Trip so there is not a video I plan to post of it, BUT I did share some of our other moments you can WATCH about VAN LIFE on a prior trip!

📌 We spent the night living Stationary in our RV Travel Trailer for the first time in a LONG time!
I haven’t had a chance to update you on all the TRAVELING we have been doing!
Like the fact we traveled to 5 countries in 5 weeks that is a lot of traveling! Then we jetted off to 3-4 or 4 more just recently (i.e. Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, The Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Cuba…) I can’t keep up with the list anymore!
But we were obviously NOT in our RVs on those excursions!
So I have to be honest it’s been MONTHS since we’ve slept at the Travel Trailer we keep stationary (or even in our RV Van)!
I did touch on some of the details about RV Life updates that might shed some more light on what has been going on behind the scenes…
📌 We’ve been dealing with Frozen Water Pipes at the RV Park (again… ???)
Whether we are in our RV or not, we still have to take care of things on the road or in person! The worst time of year to deal with the RV is when the temps start to drop below freezing!
I made a video about all that happened last year when we were Stationary RV Living in our Travel Trailer at the RV Park and how everything froze up, broke, burst, etc… then of course it happened again this year too!
We Added several new items to the RV (and my online RV Store):
- a new water hose
- water hose box
- new splitter
- new water pressure regulator
- the Freeze Miser (Protect Your Pipes — Freeze Miser® prevents your outside water pipes from freezing, wherever you are located. Freeze Miser is a temperature-activated, freeze-prevention product.)

Jalapeño Popper Potato Salad With Natural Bacon Flavoring
One thing I’ve already added to my list for this year was something I picked up in the Walmart Deli area called “JALAPEÑO POPPER POTATO SALAD With Natural Bacon Flavoring”
Let me just say OMG the Flavor Profile and SPICY-NESS of this was AMAZING!!! It was so creamy. Maybe compare it to a Spicy Loaded Mash Potato Salad!
Best of all it was tasty straight out of the fridge cold!
We added a few new favorite items to our lists: I have to admit both of these were gifts from NVington and I’m in LOVE with them!

🛍️ Vacation Candles, Perfumes, and Scents… (“Royal Pine Deluxe”)
For Christmas I got a BOX FULL OF Candles, Perfumes, Lotion, and more all Scents by Vacation which are typically all scents of sunscreen, tennis balls, Sandy Beaches, etc…
BUT this one was the Vacation “Royal Pine Deluxe” Candle and it was very POWERFUL when lit extremely fragrant aka High Quality!

🛍️ Birdie’s Custom Dog Air Freshener:
The second favorite item I received was by Dangle It a Custom Cut Out Car Air Freshener of my Dog “Birdie“ — OMG TOO CUTE I LOVIE!
I haven’t even opened it yet but it’s “island breeze” scent so I’m excited! I’ll be adding it to the Dog’s Favorites list over in the Birdie’s Doghouse SHOP!
🛍️ Doggy Dental has become a BIG deal! Trying out new ideas to Keep Up With The Dogs Dental Cleaning Routine
Been working on our Doggy Dental Hygiene (and the cat too)! Especially after Birdie and Milo had to have A LOT of teeth pulled last year!
We have been trying to brush the dogs’ teeth and while they enjoy the process it’s hard to remember to do it (since I brush my teeth in the shower).
Plus It’s not like they can do it when I do it, but they kinda can with these new NO Brush Toothpaste Dog Treats by a company called “Ark Naturals or Antelope Pets” I found at Kohl’s while shopping for Christmas gifts! They are a 4-1 Doggy Dental Chew and the dogs love them. I like that they last for a little longer than a normal dog chew and brush the dogs’ teeth too!
The only thing I hate is the price even finding them at a discount of $10 for 15-24 (if I remember correctly) when you’re feeding 6 animals that adds up, especially at the recommendation of 2 dental treats per day!
We have been trying different ideas for helping to keep their chompers clean! I keep a list of all their favorite things on Birdies Doghouse in their Dog Store

As minimalists, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads with lots of traveling, 2 RVs plus the furbabies we are constantly on the move so simplicity is key to keeping the chaos in our lives at bay! This is why NVington got us some new “NeoBare” Sock Shoes!
I’ve Been testing them out while Working out, Walking outside, and more!
They accomplish both SOCKS + SHOES all in one and are super comfy to wear around all the time… on the rocks at the Trailer Park, On Cold or Hot Concrete Walking Around Inside or Out even when Working Out, you can even sleep in them!
Technically you could never take them off, BUT people do seem to think you are walking around in your socks without any shoes! 😂
Why I LOVE & HATE Starbucks!
I cannot tell you how many times a week, maybe even multiple times a day, many different locations: at home or on the road, all over the WORLD I visit Starbucks!
And when you pay a premium for something or even continue to commit to the same name Brand you know and love (sometimes hate to love) you might just get a little frustrated or mad to NOT get what you paid for (i.e. NO consistency on what “NO ROOM” or what a “FULL CUP” of coffee really means!)
I’m not sure why Starbucks doesn’t have either Auto Pouring Coffee Machines or Lines on their Cups for Room vs NO Room customers! This is so that they will NEVER have to guess how much to actually pour!
I can almost feel by the weight of the Cup how much or LESS is in my Cup of coffee without having to even remove the lid!
Plus, I’ll be honest sometimes there is just a little bit missing vs A LOT of coffee they forgot to pour!

Another thing I recently learned is that Starbucks employees have the option to turn on and off the Mobile Orders option! Well, let’s just say that LOVE to use this button more often than they should at some locations IMO!
We like to call it the Lazy I don’t want to work button, BUT I do understand why sometimes it can be needed to turn on or off the mobile order option. It should be used not abused. 🛎️
Got a new Mug from Starbucks (and a few other Last Season Sale Cups) My Stainless Steal Thermal Mug is a game changer to keep my coffee warm!
I cannot tell you how much I love having these thermal coffee mugs as they keep my coffee warm without the need to constantly reheat it. Sometimes my coffee will stay warm for hours even until the afternoon (depending on how much I’m drinking, or not drinking, opening and closing the lid…)
🚨 We also got some new items from the BIG Blanket Co (Blankets, Oversized Hoodies & Robes) ⁉️
We’ve also recently discovered the BIG BLANKET CO (@BigBlanketCo) — their Big Blankets are 10 feet x 10 feet. That’s 100 square feet of unbelievable comfort. The best blanket you’ll own and the only blanket you’ll need. Plus they have BIG oversized wearable hoodies!
We bought 3 blankets one for each RV and the other for the Condo in the City! And of course, we got a few of their Hideout hoodies to stay warm!
That’s the gamer blanket Lil Boy and NVington are laying on.

New Pics + Clothes to set the mood!
Got some new clothes, not for Christmas but on a trip to Las Vegas (and Goodwill my favorite place)! NVington tells me I never wear all the new clothes I get so I put on my latest jacket and Goodwill find I got for $7.99!
FYI my jacket is actually made for “Men” but I found it in the women’s section at Goodwill in Las Vegas and it’s kinda my style! I looked up the company online (they’re called Kleep aka Kleep Style) and on social as @KleepStyle or @KleepUSA
I’ve been documenting all of my Goodwill Finds…
Not only do I shop at Goodwill but I love to ReSale items and actually quit my job Shopping and Goodwill flipping those items for cash online!

📌 I’ve been doing a lot of organizing, rearranging, storage, etc… from the Condo to the RV, Storage Unit, and everywhere in between (I even bought some new items to help)
From my desk to, the closet, pantry, and storage unit I’ve been working hard at going through rearranging, organizing, decluttering, downsizing, etc… I even bought a few items to help like…
- a slim shoe rack and cabinet for my shoes,
- desktop organizer for my files, and
- huggable slim hangers that help keep my closet nice and tidy)
- an over-the-door hanging organizer

Before I Became a Blogger…
My very first career was cutting hair! I started going to school for it at 16 years old and got my Master Cosmetology license when I was only 18! And, YES I’m still licensed to do hair, nails, facials, makeup and more… for over 20 years now!
Then, I worked in Accounting for many years, helping with things like bookkeeping, payroll, taxes, etc…
I also graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Kennesaw State University (in Georgia, USA) – Whooty Whoo Go Owls!
After graduating I acquired several other licenses in the Finance Industry: a Series 7, Series 66, Variable Products, and Annuities. Plus a few Insurance Licenses as well. (I honestly cannot remember the names of all of them now!)
I have worked doing Financial Planning and Investing for Individuals and also major Institutions for several well-known Wealth Management companies — my last being with Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
That was… Until I quit my job to pursue my own passions, start my own business, and find a way to make money doing what I love!

YES, I said Walking and Working out meaning I’ve been keeping up with my normal 5am Wake Up Schedule but adding in a little bit more exercise throughout my day!
I picked up a walking pad treadmill to jump on and off while working from home. I recently bought another treadmill walking pad for the Stationary RV Travel Trailer too! This is one of many Healthy Habits That Changed My Life & Business (+ One I Quit!)!
But of course, then I always need to be in workout clothing or at least have on some type of workout shoes! This is another reason I LOVE these new sock shoes!

Here at Blogging Brandi, I’m always thinking about how I can “Elevate” your experience with the time you spend with me!
Also, I cannot tell you how many times NVington and Myself (or just ME) end up in an elevator — with a mirror of course 😉 So it makes me feel like I need to take a picture depending on what we are doing, wearing, etc…

📌 Again if you didn’t know we have a cat… Johnny Flynn who I try to keep a list of all his favorite things on his Kitty Cat Blog “Cattitude Chaos” + Johnny Upgraded His Cat House & Bed (at the condo)
Recently we found these cute little pop-up portable pet houses called “Cat Cat Bed Houses” among one of many names! I think they are supposed to be houses for cats, but the dogs enjoy them too!
However, Johnny enjoys watching out the window and has a bench in the house he sits on to view.
So NVington (his cat dad) decided to make him an upgraded model and combine both his cat house and his heated cat bed so he could have the ultimate cat house!

📌 Kitty Nibbles (returns) I’ve been keeping a list of all the Kitty Nibbles I find EVERYWHERE in my life!
The cat chews, bites, or somehow gets into everything with his CRAZY NOSE for anything edible. Also, items that are NOT so supposed to be edible such as cords, wires, strings, tags, amongst other things!
As normal, Johnny continues to leave his little Kitty Nibbles all over our lives: the Apples we got for Christmas were not off limits, nor were the tags on my Vera Bradley Bags, or the loops on my new Eddie Bauer Rain Boots, the list continues to grow!

The Dogs & Cat Got A MiniVan!
I wrote a blog post dedicated to our RARE Vintage 1993 Dodge Caravan we purchased for our 5 dogs and 1 cat ( @BirdiesDoghouse + @CattitudeChaos ).
